Catherine MacGuinness

Catherine’s goal is to assist those who are suffering both physically and spiritually. She practices alternative body therapies that are specifically designed to treat the client’s health and wellness issues. Skilled touch is the application of touch that respects each person’s dignity, uniqueness, and their physical, emotional, psychological and energetic boundaries. It can provide health and spiritual benefits, and effective pain relief.

During her 26 years in California, before returning to Ireland in 2018, Catherine worked as a hospice nurse while studying and training in various modalities and became an accredited body therapy practitioner. This followed 17 rewarding years in Africa practising nursing and midwifery. Her practice is now in Blackrock, Co. Louth and her complementary body therapies include:
